UPDATES

I know I've been bad about keeping up with this blog, will try to do better!

Gabriel's first ever soccer season is almost over, one game left. Despite his amazing athletic ability, his team just can't seem to win - or even score, actually. When he plays goalie, he does block more goals than he lets get past him, so that's good, right?

Chad is finishing 8th grade in a few weeks, and will actually be in HIGH SCHOOL in the fall - wow. I had initally been told that his 'special needs' could not be served in our district once he reached high school, but that has now changed (and I didn't even have to hurt anyone at the district office to make that happen! LOL)

Both of the boys were accepted into a one-week summer camp program funded by Operation Purple, for children of military personnel, so we'll be taking them up to the mountains above Santa Barbara for a week in July.

Mike has been home for a little over 4 weeks now, and is finally starting to settle back into the routines of being a civilian again. Hopefully I will be going back to school in the fall, but still need to work full-time, so we'll see how that goes.

Erinn is supposedly graduating from high school sometime in the next few weeks, and she is turning 18 one week from today. Can't believe she's almost a legal adult! She can even vote in a presidential election right away. Time flies.

I will do my best to post current photos here, and hope everyone else is doing well!

I love the pix, especially the one of him keeping goal! Yeah it is weird for me to see Chad growing up so much. It is easier with Gabriel because his twin (Ethan) is right here reminding me of him! I am still shocked that Erinn is 18, I remember watching her when she was just Kaitlyn's age! Oh well just as long as we remember to tell people our "correct age" we won't feel old. By the way you have to be 30 cuz we can't both be 25! LOL!
